I want a Hunter of my own!!

This is the third book in the Sentinel Demon series and the one I wanted to read because it is about Hunter. Since the beginning I have always been drawn to Hunter and couldn't wait for him to get his chance a love. Athena the Creator of the Sentinels has summoned Hunter to her so that they can restore the balance between goodnight and evil. What she doesn't expect to learn is that Hunter is her mate. Hunter doesn't believe he is worthy of having a mate or radiant, but the Fates have other plans and these two must find a way or all will be lost. I loved Athena because she was strong even after centuries of being alone and she was humble when meeting the Sentinels and their radiants. She also knew her heart and was willing to give up everything for love and for the survival of her new family. Hunter does learn how to love others and we get a glimpse of why on dhow he became the person he is. I didn't want this story to end and once I started I didn't stop to the last page and luckily we get another book in this series. While this book has an HEA with a continuing storyline.

I'm a big fan of J. S. Scott and also of paranormal so this is a win win for me.
This is the third story in the sentinel demons series. Even though each book features a different couple there is a continuing wider story arc that goes through the books, meaning you really need to have read the first two to understand where this story is coming from.
I loved reading Hunter and Athena's book. Even though it's not very long it's got plenty of action and story. I like the sentinel demons and their back story. It's clever and not something that I've seen anything like before.
The connection and romance between Hunter and Athena is great with lots of hotness. I enjoyed learning what made them tick as I was curious from meeting them before in the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, read it in one sitting and can't wait for the next in the series.
